A played through the tutorial on my iPad.
Do I now need to go through it again on my PC in order to unlock some of the campaigns?

From the Manual Additions sticky

Find the OPTIONS.TXT file in My Docs/My Games/BBCBA and set the CAMPAIGNS value to 255 and it will unlock all the campaigns.
