Field of Glory Napoleonics
Open gaming, demo and matches. We will have 3 rounds. Start times at 9:30 am, 2:00 pm, 7 pm. Players are welcome to participate in just one game if they prefer.

850 points, 4’x6’ using 15mm scale and movement.

For those playing FOG:N or wanting to learn the new Grand Tactical Napoleonic rules, we have this dedicated gaming event. Players are encouraged to bring their 15mm or 25mm army. 25mm armies based for 15mm scale will be available as the Demo. I suspect we will be adjacent to the FOG Ancients and Renaissance events. But as it is a new venue i don't know.

Dan, Would like to max out on fog am and play this as well.....not a fogr player. Please accommodate me as a priority over all these other yahoos. Ian

Well there will be Ancients on thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Renaissance on at least friday and Saturday.
This on Saturday.

I fancy a Saturday Nap.

So what your saying is that the event is scheduled for July 21st which is a Saturday.

This is a great time to play, learn rules, etc.

We will have loaner armies available.

What is the time limit for each 850pt game?

Going to guess 3.5 to 4 hrs per game judging by the start times.

PS Can we up this to 900 or 1000 pts for Fall In onwards ?

Even at 850pts the armies seem somewhat small, as said, I don't know how people manage to do 650pts at all

Hope everyone has a great time at Historicon, wish I can make it- hopefully the Bunnies will make an appearence next year.

BTW- the Bunnies are planning on having a FoGN tourney soemtime in the fall- probably Oct (When AL and AU have away games). We are planning on 900 pts.

It will depend on the players. This is the first. Some will be here to learn rules and work mechanisms, etc.

If players want a time limit we will be running on 3.5 hours. But I am not going to shoot people who want more and if people want to re-set up and start over after 90 minutes that is fine too.

I look forward to more points. But let's not jump. I have some solid ideas for bigger games down the road. But first we walk. And youneed to remember that when a battery pivots it is not restricted to pivoting that direction for the rest of the game.

Sorry I can't make H-Con this year - I will look forward to Fall-In and I am already working on 900 point lists!

Unless I play in the FOG -AM v2 ipad tourney!
