Hi

Has anyone an idea of what an Avar RCv(S) should be classified as in FOG? I have assumed Cavalry, Superior, Armoured, Drilled, Lance, Bow*, Sword. Also what would a Middle Assyrian RBd(F) become and would the LF supports be the same quality?

Cavalry, Superior, Armoured, Drilled, Bow, Sword.

The Strategikon makes it clear that (despite their lances) Avars were primarily horse archers and operated in an entirely different way from the Byzantines themselves.

Not entirely sure, but probably 1/2 MF Light Spear, Swordsmen, 1/2 MF Bow. All troops in a BG must always be of the same quality.
