Both versions of the Early South Slav lists should be split into Serbian, Croatian, and other South Slavs, or else the use of any troops limited to a specific nationality should prohibit the use of troops associated with another nationality. For example, using Serbian Noble cavalry should prevent the army from also including either Croatian noble cavalry and the (Other South Slavs) Noble Cavalry. Similary Serbian archers should only be available if the list does not include Croatian or Other South Slav troops. By allowing all the options together , the current list allows the player to buy a horde of lancers that wouldn't be allowed in the TT list. A Serbian army should only be allowed a maximum of 12 lancers , a Croatian army 10 and other South Slavs only 8. Instead the current list allows a maximum of 30 if the player uses all the variants of lancers! This is a major distortion of the historical army troop mixes.

Just checked the DAF TT book and to me it is OK to use all cav together.

Nothing specifies in the book that this can not be done. It even states that the Croats and Serbs "rapidly assimilated with their Slav subjects".

However I believe you are right in that there should be 2 seperate lists.

As we both know there are quite a few differences between the TT armies and the pc armies. I know I have spotted them in the past. I can not remember which armies they are though.
