1. Can a French Hussar Unit charge though a French line unit at 5MU to strike an extended line Austrian Infantry if there is only 1.5 MU gap in front of the French Infantry unit to hit the Austrians?
- I do not have the rules YET, I ordered them and should get them late in the week. I played it as there is enough space and move the French Infantry back to fit the French Hussars.
2. Also the intro does not mention Cohesion effects in the questions. Is it like FOG where Cohesion levels are
-1 = disordered, -2= wavering, -3= broken?

In the 'real' rules:
Only if the unit being passed though can slide backwards by up to a base depth to make space
AND
Only if the Hussars pass a Complex Move Test.

It depends on what you are referring to:
It's like FOGA in that you lose dice for combat and firing (1/3, 1/2, all)
There is no negative effect for the Cohesion or Complex Move Tests though.

There was enough room for a backward slide of 1/2 a base width, so I guess I did that correct.
What I mean by the -1 -2 like FOG was that on the firing chart when it says -1 cohesion. I assume you go from Normal to disordered. -2 fron the firing table means from normal to wavering?

yes. But note it is not automatic from waver to broken unless at close range or close combat.
