Hi Folks new Legion Gold user here. I have been trying to play the Celts and the Tribal Player. However although I can build the advanced buildings ( Warrior Hall, Hall of Champions ) no new units appear when building those unit types? Do I have a corrupt install or is this a bug? Or is there a way to ge tthose to appear that I don't know about? Please let me know. THANKS!!!!

What side are you playing as? The Hall of Champions allows German Champions, but only if you are playing as Germans. It might be a big that allows you to build this structure when you are not German - I dont remember if it has any other benefits that the other sides may want to build it for.

The Legion area of the website has info on what units you can build & what structures they require so check it out.

Yes, Well looking a the manual it mentions Close Warband,British light Cavalry, and some other units but so far they don't appear to be buildable, well unless they are going under different names. And yes, the Hall of Champions appears to be buildable by most if not all races except Romans and Greeks.....

But which side are you playing? No side gets close formation warband as well as British Light Cavalry.

Sorry to lag so much on this reply and thanks for answering. I was playing the Gauls and could build the Hall, but not the unit it was a bit frustrating at the time. Also Captured cites would have the hall as any Nationality.

I played as the Gauls, Germans and Romans.

Romans Had Praetorians and Gladiators

Germans Had 'Nice Cavalry' and Champions

Gauls Had 'Fanatics' and little else

I found playing the Germans and Romans to be the only option, I guess the buildable building for the celts and the fact I couldent build the unit was a Red Herring of sorts. Made me think something was broke.
