I was just about to make comments on the new release when I received the update, so I thought I'd play each scenario again with the revisions and then comment. I played the DLC as a Field Marshal and, as always, imported my units. By the way, I admit to compiling the vast majority of my units in the Colonel and (a few) in the General level, and would like to state that personally I LOVE the option to slide up and down with forces compiled at another level. Otherwise I'm not sure if I'd ever have left the Colonel level.

Anyway, back to Korsun Pocket. I was dismayed to say the least when I replayed the scenario with the revisions. The earlier version was much harder, (which, imo equates to entertaining). It felt like you removed a great deal of the Russian equipment. On my first go round I was defensive as much as I was on offense, but in the revised version I just plowed through everything. Granted, it still wasn't exactly easy, but it seemed that the challenge was degraded so much that all I was really doing was slowly removing Russian units as I came upon them, rather than having to react to them as THEY also came at me.

You especially cut down on the Russian air power, at least that's how it seemed to me, as in the first version I was constantly reacting to air power but in the revised version there were either far fewer or they were far less aggressive. That comment goes to all the Russian units on reflection, and perhaps that's a large part of it. If you didn't remove a lot of Russian units you certainly "mellowed" them out.

All I can say in PLEASE put some of the units back in or make what IS there more aggressive. I don't know for sure what you did, but I say UNDO it! You had a much better scenario the first time around.

It just seems like there is less because you already have experience with the scenario. There actually are more units, not less, as of the update.

That's a surprise. How about aircraft. Is there more of them as well? I replay scenarios frequently and admittedly when you know where the bad guys are coming from it's easier, but even factoring that in it seemed so much easier. Are the Russians still as aggressive? Something felt decidedly different. I just completed Korsun Breakout and it seemed much easier too!
