Just installed Team Assault.
When I try to start TA, I get:

Turns out,...when it was installing the DirectX, DotNet, and C++ Components, my PC rebooted when I stepped away.
I assumed that it had finished installing. Wrong.

I reinstalled everything and all is well now.

Sorry you had problems there – but at least you were able to fix it.
