!Panzer Corps Issue-Deploying Units 1939-45 Campaign

Just bought Panzer Corps and there is an issue with the Balkan battle for the 1939-45 Campaign. The game will not allow me to deploy all of my units, after I deploy half my units the rest of the deploy hexes just disappear, even after closing and relaunching the game. Obviously this is a bug and I would like a fix. My OS is Win7 and I have run the dxdiag utility-no issues. I have friends who want to purchase this game but I've told them to hold off until I hear back.
Cheers

Are you talking about the greek scenario ?
AFAIK there are two scenarios, where you can't place all off your core units :
a) Kiev
b) Greece, where you can place only a fraction of your core army.
Rest of army is kept in "Reserve"
You might have noticed that the game tells you beforehand, how many units you are allowed to place (not counting SE units)
So most probably no bug, but an intended "feature"

Welcome.
It's like huertgenwald explained. It's WAD. Working as designed.

Ahh right guess I read the intro a little fast....silly feature if you ask me. If I place all of my ground units first I can't place any air units so a units role isn't taken into account. Not sure how a forced reserve contributes to the game-play but I appreciate the reply. Cheers.

It doesn't, but Greece is a rather small country and you don't want to cause a serious traffic jam like in the Norway scenario ?

at first I didn't care for the limited deploy either but have come to really like that demand on my tactics and strategy. I wasn't concerned about having a reserved core unit build up until I started playing the DLC's. this is when that Greece scenario of the vanilla campaign kept ringing a bell in my head. the DLC's made me want to have (2) strategic bombers in reserve for those enemy ships and fort scenarios like Narvik and the France scenarios.
I could have experienced units when needed as I try to build new unit experience when units like my strategic bombers were not necessary. I'm appreciating the reserve application more as I'm playing with a weak core in a new DLC 39 campaign.

This thread has some conversations on the topic:

Kerensky wrote:Reserves are a somewhat under-represented feature at the moment. The idea was that you could have 40 units and only 20 core slots. Half of your core is geared toward open terrain combat with armor, and half is geared toward entrenched city and rough terrain fighting. Depending on your upcoming scenario, you then build your core as you think you will need.
The reserve system allows you to maintain a large variety of units. More importantly than the standard 'disband to make more room' line of thinking, keeping units in reserve instead is a way to preserve heroes, medals, and experience on units that you are putting off to the side for later use. Bridge engineers, perhaps.
Some experimentation on Kiev and Greece were not exactly welcomed with open arms, and created a lot of confusion and actual bug reports, so this feature exists, but currently does not see a whole lot of use. It is however a tool that custom designers can utilize, and something that might come into play in future content.
