.. but after going through alot of battles, I go to click Campaign at the top of my screen one time and it takes me to 'choose campaign' screen. I would take this to mean that I finished the Roman campaign to move on to the celts... but... the Celts aren't listed on the campaign screen... just the Romans and Latins. Am I doing something stupid?

Hi - what country are you in? Which publisher version do you have?

If i remember well, you start with the Latin (= tutorial) once you finish that campaign you start with the romans. Once you've finished the roman campaign, you'll be able to play the Celt campaign...

In the USA. Not sure about publisher version.

I played through the Latin tutorial till it pushed me on to the Roman campaigns. I was playing through them and eventually when I clicked "Campaign" to go the next battle, it took me to the selection screen, but the only options were Latin and Roman, no Celts. I don't remember what the last battle I did was because my save point is after that. I'm playing through again to try and get the name of the last battle before it does this OR move on if it doesn't do it this time through.

The game has not released in the USA and will not do for some time. Where did you get it? Which logo does it have on the box?

This may not help at all (esp since I'm talking about Legion:Arena experience) but I remember I once went into options to change something and pressed "start new campaign" button instead of "confirm" by mistake (since it was more prominently situated on screen)... maybe you made the same mistake?

What Borsook said, I'm betting that was what happened.

At least in LA it was the same icon.

I got it on eBay. The only logo's on the box are Slitherine, Black Bean, and the History Channel I believe. I'll have to dig it back out of the tote it's in and double check though... I'm fixing to move and already had the box packed.

If it is in English it sounds like you may have bought a pirated copy as the game does not release until tomorrow. Do you have the details of where you purchased it and can they be mailed to us at info@slitherine.co.uk.

You know what..I am really disappointed at all of the people that would have the audacity to post on this site concerning a game that they got as a bootleg...it is a slap in the face to the Artists that have painstakingly offered up this sure to be opus of imperial roman warfare for us to partake in as well as the fans that savour every moment of it and want them to continue making great games....it is terrible indeed....I for one cannot wait to receive my LEGAL copy that puts MONEY IN THE POCKETS of those that have and surely will continue to bring us quality gaming...and yes of course I rushed to pre- order it:)

I was not attempting to buy a bootleg, that's for darn sure. I merely thought if it was released elsewhere I could import quicker than waiting on a pre-release.

I don't have the ebay username anymore because I rarely use ebay, but the return address on the box says:
William Thompson
4-1 Oxendon Street
London, GB.

From what I have seen of ebay the vast majority of DVD and games are pirated. I wish ebay would look in to it but I have reported things in the past and no action was taken other than removing the item in question.

Have same problem here, though i bought mine from play.com, on of the bigger UK online retailers.

You finish roman campaign, get a speech from MA, then returns you to your campaign camp. Clicking campaign button drops you onto the campaign select screen, , which i think is right BUt only Roman and Latin campaigns apear.
I even saved here so i could try the roman button incase it was mislabelled but it just starts the roman campaign from battle 1. The celtic campaign does not appear at all. Get the feeling its noyt updating the flag that allows the celtic campaign to be displayed.
Being a sealed copy from a major retailer i somehow doubt it is a copy.

could even try and email in my save i think if its a new problem.

Having same problem (legal copy brought from Game in UK on release), campaign suddenly finishes sends me to campaign screen and only options are the Latin (tutorial) campign, or restarting the Roman campaign.. Also the Roman campaign finished after the battle against Julius Ceaser's murders, which seems a little early to me. Surly Rome had many Great Battles after that - the conquest of Britain by Claudius just to cite one example!

The game cover the period up until the formation of the Empire. There were some Celtic scenarios created but we could not find History Channel material to go with them so could not create the movies so decided to drop them. It looks like we left the reference to them in the tutorial. It may be possible to release these as a patch, but we'd have to see if there was enough demand.

Just curious since there is nothing once you finish just the campaign screen i finished with just over 100'000 fame (norm difficulty), is this good, bad or avg?

Maybe you could patch in a screen you can check on your previous results, unless i missed the exsisting one?

Thanks
