Suppressed unit fire

In the last few games,..specifically DDay+3,..I'm playing someone in the MP, I'm noticing more tanks firing at me, even though they are seriously suppressed.

One example was my opponent's STUG was suppressed to 25. I came merrily down the hill to get a side shot when blam,..it fires and knocks me out.
I reason,,..okay, I remember them saying that a suppressed unit will fire upon a unit even though it's suppressed,..but,...
Then I rolled another tank down, and again,..I got knocked out.
You know what happened next right,..I did it a 3rd time and that STUG knocked out 3 tanks in a row.
(what's the sign of insanity,..doing something over and over and expecting a different result)

Now that STUG that was suppressed at 25,..now has a morale of 80+ because he received morale boosts upon each knock out.
In my honest opinion,..I could see a suppressed tank firing once,..but 3 times,...
Also,..I think the suppressed tank should suffer some type of precision fire penalty, making their shot not as accurate as a tank above 50+ morale.

Let me know what you think.

Suppressed armour will fire back, but they do indeed suffer severe penalties to accuracy, it halfs it to be exact. I think we do need to signpost that suppressed armour can still fire back a little more perhaps.

The first shot was indeed very lucky but after that it would be back at 50%. Hence, not suppressed anymore!
It seems to me that suppressed units are more likely to fire now. I have been away from BA for almost a year and the feeling I have
is that it didn't happened as often back then. Accuracy seems the same.

Thanks for the response,...makes sense especially after hidde pointed out the the STUG wouldn't have been suppressed after the 1st knock out.

Here's another question along the same lines:

Is it that suppressed tanks fire only upon tanks that were not in it's LOS.
Or does it fire on anything that moves?,..or in my case when I show my unit's back side thinking that it wouldn't shoot.

Here's why I ask,..let's say that my opponent's suppressed tank is sitting in the open,..and I try to roll in and do away with him.
My first tank rolls in, and is fired upon but is not killed,...so I then roll in with another, and that one is fired upon too, but not killed.

Am I to understand that if 20 tanks were able to roll into view, would each be fired upon, if the first 19 were missed?

I am pretty sure that suppressed units only get a single reaction shot. The code removes all their shots when they fire. If this isn't what you are seeing, then that would be a bug.

While I believe that's what I'm seeing,.....I will make sure I take notice the next few games I play.
Since I'm currently playing "Clash of Armor" it should show up if it exists pretty quickly.

BTW, whoever designed "Clash of Armor" is a genius!
I wish there were more Tank vs. Tank scenarios like that one.
