We had a general leading a BG, i.e. attached to the front, not in the front rank displacing bases.
If this BG moves so that the general, but none of its bases, goes with in 6 MU of enemy, does it count as moving within 6 MU of enemy?
I assume it does.

Well it would if the general was on his own and wanted to make a second move, so I guess (for the sake of consistency) it should in the circumstance you mention.
Does the present wording make this so, in your opinion?

Yes, I think it does. So no change needed.
