Please unlock my account. I certainly have never cheated and if this message was generated due to some odd activity from my end it was not my fault.

On the other hand there are other games out there that I have yet to try out and I certainly can take my creative time and money elsewhere if you so desire. You call on this.

If this is going to happen a lot maybe its best I find somewhere else to game as it looks like SL is going down the drain in a hurry with these kind of draconian measures. George Orwell being from the UK I guess it all fits ..

Hi Old Warrior. Is you account locked? It doesnt say so in the message. Most of us received this message these last days as Slitherine is implementing this issue.

None has had his account blocked as far as I know.

I try and get to my games tonight - no dice. Says that my account is CANCELLED. Much different from Locked out and I apologize for not saying that sooner.

I am not sure if they mean Cancelled as in no more or its just their way of saying it was locked out.

Oh well ... I will not jump to conclusions. I am sure that there is some logical answer and when the UK folks wake up in the morning and read the Tech Support forum they will see my post there.

Anyone that checks my won/loss record (well, not the bogus one on the Slitherine website) would find out that I am still learning and lose more often than I win.

And yes, I will use the rear attack stagger movement trick until it goes away. If its in the game I play with it. But that is not cheating - and I have never pulled my network cable (buried behind my system) in order to redo a move. I am sure that there is some logical answer to why my account is cancelled ... but I would hate to think that 11 games are down the drain. All for this new feature?

Yes, if that is the case I would just move on ... maybe you guys like this new feature but I see the writing on the wall and its says high admin workload and angry customers. For what? So one or two people do not cheat?

Just set up a game using a password with someone you trust if you are that paranoid and only play with trusted opponents. LOTS of them up here guys.

Your account shouldn't be cancelled or locked out. if you have issues in logging in into the website, forum or MP, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We know there was a bug on the no-cheating system and we fixed it. As said in the thread above, you could still receive those notifications in the next days, as per the logs recording, but the system won't ban you automatically, that's something done by a team member and we won't ban anyone without contacting him first.

Can you let us know why you think yor account is cancelled? Where does it say this? Your PBEM and forum accounts are the same thig so you obviously are able to get in as you are posting messages here.

Can you explain to us exactly what has happened and what you see, not what you think has happened :)

Works fine today. It was just sitting at the login attempt screen. Rest of my internet was working fine. Must have been the Slitherine server ....
