Hardcore diff levels easy to unlock if anybody is interested

Hi all.

I just unlocked the hardcore levels the hard way by playing on the hardest level all through the ten scenarios (btw. the US scenarios rock!).

If anybody wants the hardcore levels without doing it the hard way, it is easy to unlock them through the Windows Registry.

Let me know if anybody is interested. Not sure if it is okay for me to tell - don't know if I am forbidden to tell ...

It's not rocket science, though ... :-)

EDITED: I found out because I have synchonization of my save games on two computers via Dropbox, but obviously not the games preferences which are to some degree stored in the registry. So I wouldn't want to complete 10 scenarios once again just to unlock the same difficulty levels. I have now proven to myself I could do it the hard way, so now I take the easy path.

Thanks for the offer and yes, it's fine to share but it has been in the Common Questions thread for a while. The link is from that thread: viewtopic.php?t=30267

Good tip, too!

Oh, I see - my bad!

However, the Dropbox trick is actually pretty good if you have Panzer on two or more computers:

- Make a folder and move/copy all files and folders from Documents -> My Games -> Panzer Corps into the folder.
- Delete or rename original folder in Documents.
- Set up a symbolic link from the new Dropbox subfolder with the save games etc. in it so that it points from Dropbox to the original location.

The game will now treat the Dropbox folder as a local folder in Documents and all save games, CORE's etc. is synchronized.

This is handy in a lot of different situations, not just for games.

Absolutely. Dropbox is the way I have my games set up on my desktop and laptop.
