Do we consider that a pursuing BG is still in close combat? ie: can we shoot at it? can it evade if it is of the appropriate type and is charged ?

They are not in close combat, which the Combat Mechanism tell us "„Close Combat‟ is a general term for impact and melee combat. Once such combat has been joined, battle groups are deemed to be in close combat until one side breaks off, breaks or is destroyed".

However, in the Shooting section, the authors forget this and say:

"Bases that are engaged in close combat cannot shoot or be shot at. As a result:

....

A battle group cannot be shot at if it is pursuing routers and still in contact with them."

Oddly, it doesn't stop the routers being a potential target, so you can shoot at them. With no effect though as the combat mechanism says "There is no explicit shooting or close combat against, or by, broken troops."

if i understand, you have to shoot at it (according to target priority rules), but without any effect... ok
and what about charging them if they can evade? do they?

yes shoot without effect. The FAQ confirms that routers don't evade.

Pursuers who remain in contact with routers must pursue unless they pass a CMT to stop pursuit. (p 107)
Similar to the wording about looting a camp. Once you are pursuing you cannot move normally. This includes evading.
