Like the game so far! Very cleanly designed and implemented.
Still haven't quite figured out what all the 'special' sub-units are for, but I'm getting there slowly.
I do wish they had included an option to play the whole map at once – a 'grand campaign'.

You're ahead of me.
I started a campaign as the russains and lost about 8 times before I won.
I like the game and I am one to jump in without reading things!!
Still figuring it out as well.

I'm loving it, too!
I got it last night and started my first campaign (as the Axis) today. Got slaughtered in the first scenario. Looks like there is much to learn in this one!
I managed to attach some engineers to a mountain troop unit, but I couldn't think what difference they made.

I picked this up in the recent Easter sale and finally got around to a game yesterday and agree I like it so far. Visually it is very nice for a turn based war game with some nicely detailed maps while the soundtrack (Kind of reminds me of the Tarantino 'Ingloriuos Basterds' movie) is suitably mood forming.
The tutorial is good to explain the basics so I jumped in at the first mission of the German campaign, managed to beat it after the 4th or 5th attempt using the maximum 9 turns....

. I haven't quite got my head around the supply system but I'm sure this will come with more play.
The ability to call in off map help like airstikes and build bridges etc is also a nice touch, as is the reinforcements tab.
Good game to play in tandem with Panzer Corps.

There is suppose to be a patch released for it soon. I don't know what it contains, hopefully a longer and savable campaign. There is not much action on their official forums, so very little news.
Great game btw.
