Why limit the number of accepted games?

Don't know if this has been asked before, but has a rationale ever been given for this?

Because some folks would just accept all of the open games otherwise. And some guys would just let them sit too.
We have guys that do that in our game clubs. Pick up 20 games and never finish them. Its a good policy and I like it.
I would like it to where you could block a player from accepting your open games. Have a Blocked list ...
