sold two 28mm WW2 armies on ebay, day or so after they were posted fella contacted me saying that they were missing and asked for refund....

my wife kindly posted them for me and didnt get proof of posting.

it appears that the armies have gone missing on the way to slough, berkshire.... Im surprised because Ive posted thousands of packages over the years and never once has one gone missing, shame its the one that doesnt have Proof of posting on it............

anyway, armies look like this:

pretty much DAK and British paras in 28mm............. Im hoping someone knows where they are!
pass the word around if you can gents... it seems my toys have gone missing!

Pm me any details please, really hoping the community can help me on this.... though I know Proof of posting is advised

I suspect they are with whoever you posted them to...

The royal mail (bless 'em) don't always leave a calling card. Amazon advise that a four week period is left before pursuing any sort of remedial activity - I would suggest the same. Certainly one or two days after posting is way too soon.

cheers Dave,

the buyer is well within the law to demand a refund if they are late at all. with no proof of purchase theres nothing I can do except rely on honesty.

its more a case of trying to track the armies down so that if whoever has them, assuming they arent just lost in post, uses them or sells them then they get spotted.
