Hi there,

I'm looking for 6-8 players for a Decline and Fall campaign. It's all about winning renown in a civil war and becoming de facto ruler. There's no housekeeping, no buildings, no income, so nice and simple If you are interested, check out the 'To Tame a Land' post in the Campaigns forum.

We are currently discussing a few rules changes (see 'To Tame a Land' in Campaigns) and may have a restart as we are only just into the second turn. Whether we restart or not, you are welcome to join in.

I'm looking at buying the game right now,seems i'll need the Decline and fall expansion as well. Mind a very new player in the mix?

No problem at all. We have a mixture of players in the campaign, from Old School through to relatively new, from regular 'league' players to casual players. I have learned a lot and am still learning all the time, so I think it'll be a good place to start

I'm in the campaign, and if we happen to battle each other, I'd be happy to teach you. But since points are in the game, I'll be obliged to crush you altogether.

Why thank you and i will take you up on your gracious offer. But be warned i do tend to be "lucky" and I'll take that over good when i have to........lol

At the moment i am having very poor luck with the auto-updater in patching the base game. Naturally on the matrix website they only show the 1.71 update,which I am now downloading just in case i have to try and patch manually.

Must be because of the hackers that attacked the server twice in the last few weeks. Caused a lot of other problems too.

Nope, we're still getting things under way and I can re-jig some of the first season challenges. Just post your two army choices in the Campaign thread and I'll get you up and running!
