Sealion - A13 tanks always bogging

I'm currently playing the MP map 'Armoured Showdown' and I have to say that I'm singularly unimpressed with the Allies A13 tank. On paper it's a match for a Panzer III but that's if it can ever reach the front line without getting bogged. The scenario is already tough enough for the Allied player, weighted as it is in favour of the Axis (who have superior forces IMHO) without having ther added disadvantage of losing firepower each turn due to a track falling off! Was this tank historically unreliable?

We were trying to combine several factors. As far as our research went, this tank (as well as several of the other early British cruisers) had pretty poor reliability. Also, its seemed tracks were very narrow and suffered cross country at high speed. Finally, we tried to add in the "Dunkirk" factor, with the surviving British armour denuded of spares and overworked due to lack of numbers.

That's our thinking behind the bogging chance. Whether or not it's still too high and impedes gameplay is another matter ;)

In which case I wonder if the Germans should have a smaller/less powerful force to balance things up a bit?

As it is, I've suffered boggage every single turn with my A10/A13s and by the time they do reach the front line, Jerry has already pinched the key flags and taken the high ground :(

I've also experienced this, phenomenon; on some turns all the British tanks bogged down in my game.

However, when playing the German side it's noticeable that panzers rarely, if ever suffer the same problems.

I would love to see an option to turn off these historical details which merely frustrate when the MP challenge is issued. That would at make it feel like a level playing field.

I'll add such an option to the task list. Although it would (e.g.) make KTs very very tough.
