Hi all.
As I wasnt happy with the named battle (almost impossible to win playing the Romans) that comes with the game I made this scenario. My first one so every advice is welcome
I tried the Romans on single player and when I was just about to win I run out of time. That's why I made it for 25 turns.
Didnt tried it on multiplayer yet so If anyone wants to try it pls go ahead and let me know or send me a message and we can try it.
Next a few links of the battle:

Thank you for your contribution Fedem. I agree, it is needed to balance out that scenario, as you've done, while keeping within the historical data (such as we have it). I've looked it over but haven't played it yet. But it looks like you covered all the bases and made some shrewd choices regarding troop strength and position.

I wanted to be complimented with you, have rendered playable finally that which was an impossible battle in the basic game.

Basically I said what he said, Micha: You did a fine job in gaming what is a difficult (i.e. impossible) scenario.

Sorry, he had me doing it too. I inherited the Fedem/Micha confusion. Correction: Good job, Fedem. Thanks for your contribution. And 'pete, the draught is nothing else than Flor de Cana Nicaraguan rum, well-aged. A bit pricey but unique.

I think the scenario is good, Fedem. It works well both against the AI and in MP. The AI, because it's incompetent, duplicates almost exactly the confusion and chaos that overcame Tigranes forces and makes for a fun game as the Romans. In multiplayer, it's a competetive scenario. You can't expect any player to respond as ineptly at the Armenians actually did. They just fell apart in the actual battle. So naturally it's going to be much harder for the Romans to win even though you've followed history and deprived the cats of swords. If you think it still favors the Armenians in MP, make the Armenian cataphracts Average. They really shouldn't be given Superior quality. After all, historically, they were the first to rout. They were average at best, maybe even poor.
My .02.
Thanks for your work!
Best,
Tim
