Well done to Hugh in topping that field which looks (on paper) to be quite strong. Are the Jocks planning to request an England vs Scotland Test Match at the Worlds...?

The third round of this years Scottish League will be held on 22nd September at the The Village Hall, Harburn, West Calder, EH55 8RF. Get your entries and army lists in asap. If you haven’t competed at a Scottish League event before, come along and give it a try.

This will be a 15mm FoG-AM tournament.
• There will be three games each lasting a maximum of 2hrs 20min, plus a random 0-10 minutes.
• Maximum army size is 650pts.
• Table size is 5'x3'.
• Scoring is the usual 0-25 system.
• Any published army list may be selected though competitors are encouraged to use different lists in each round.

Timetable
Game 1 09:00 – 11:30
Game 2 12:00 - 14:30
Game 3 15:00 - 17:30

Special rules -
• Terrain rules as normal except
o Each player’s choice is reduced to 2 or 3 optional pieces, no piece can be bigger than 9 inches in any direction
and no double size pieces may be used.
o No terrain piece can be placed (prior to adjustment) closer than 3MU’s to any other piece except as listed in the
rules on page 140.
o If a 5 or 6 is rolled for placing a terrain piece, the distance from the appropriate edge is reduced to 6inches
rather than 8.
• Deployment is at 8" and 12" inches rather than the usual 10" and 15".
• Play will stop at the end of the current bound being played, before the JAP, ie. an equal number of bounds is not guaranteed.

Team entries of up to three competitors will be accepted, competing for the overall team competition. Note that no individual may compete as a member of more than one team during the year.

Where possible team members will not be drawn against each other, members of the same club will not be drawn against each other in the first round, and for the first game in each round players will not be drawn against anyone they’ve played in a previous Scottish League 2012 event. Family members will not be drawn against each other in any round.

Entry fee is £12 including roll and soup.

List checker is Steve Caffrey (scsc18917@blueyonder.co.uk).
