No Update;

Hello,
I can't update BA.
When I run the game, I see a dialog box who say that they are a new version of the game but when I click on Yes , dialog box and starter screen disappear and I must start again the game. If I click on NO, I can play with the old version.
My version is Version 1.3 Module 1.6.0. My OS is vista.

I'm not sure what might be happening, but the simplest way to update to the latest version would be to grab the 1.7 update installer from
viewtopic.php?f=87&t=31383
Then you can simply run and install and you will be up to date
.

hi pip, I am trying to download latest version, I click on link and follow steps but when it finishes downloading it asks for a serial number, I have bought sealion but am awaiting conformation from both paypal and yourselves.
I bought it earlier today around 3pmish but didnt keep the reciept number, if it hasnt gone through, dont worry I can re do it

The patch doesn't require any serials - only the expansion installers need these. If you update to the latest patch, you can simply enter the serial through the Unlock Expansions utility on the initial launcher.

Sorry pip you might as well be speaking Japanese that makes no sense at all to me!!
I go to the download page complete the download then it asks me for a serial no. What do I need to input there to install the patch, I am probably being thick but I can't help it I am new to pc games (ps3 man)

Which download are you grabbing? The main game installer will ask for a serial, any expansion installer will ask for a serial, but any patch installer will find the serial that is already on the system (or it should). Can you tell me the exact name of the EXE you are running that is asking you for a serial.

And the serial box doesn't have an entry in it? It should find the installed version and use the existing serial if I recall correctly.
If this is not happening, you will need to enter your main game serial again. This should be available on your My Page (accessible from the main Slitherine web page) if you don't have a record of it.
