Hi there

Just wondering if there has been an issue with the multiplayer server. I can't seem to issue new challenges ie. these are not showing up on the new challenges menu after I issue them.

It's working fine for me here. Is this still happening, or was it a passing issue?

I haven't playes multiplayer for a while but I never had a problem until I installed the latest patch.
Am I doing it right?
Multiplayer>My Challenges>New Challenge>Choose from menu>Password but the new challenge doesn't show up on the menu.

Can you play other games, where you accept the challenge? Do you see other people's challenges listed?

No, can't see any other challenges. All my old completed challenges have also disappeared.

That is very odd. Can you post your system specs and also what your privacy settings on IE are. I'm not sure what would cause no error message, and yet no incoming traffic from the server.

I will get out server people to look at the logs also.

Oh - and can you copy and paste the contents of the error.log file found in My Documents/My Games/BBCBA. You will need to do this immediately after you quit the game, having been into the MP lobby and 'seen' the issue at work .

Believe it or not it now works. Will let you know if it happens again.

Very wierd. I think it must be something in your internet settings or the like. We checked the logs and it didn't seem to think you were connected at all .

Very weird. Now it intermittently works. I set up a challenge for Arnhem. The next few days I couldn't see it on the Challenges menu when I tried. About a week later I tried again and voila! It appears on the menu. Any idea why?

How do you connect to the internet? Is it through a proxy server or anything unusual?

Just normal internet connection. I haven't changed any browser settings, in fact, any settings throughout all this.

I've built a test EXE to give me more info. If you can try it out and let me have the output that might help me track down this issue.

Please download the following EXE. Drop it into your BA install folder, and run it. Go into MP and try the various tabs etc to show off the issue, and then exit.

Immediately go to My Documents\My Games\BBCBA and email the error.log file to me at pipslitherine@gmail.com
