I am playing the Later Achaeminiad Persians for the first time - against Alex Macs..
I just noticed that in mele combat
Persian Guard Infantry Elite, Drilled, Protected, Heavy Foot, Offensive spear - steady
vs
Macedonian Foot Companians, Average, Drilled, Protected, Heavy Foot, Pike - steady

The attacker (Persians) are POA 0 vs Macedonian POA 2

I thought the Persian guards should have a POA of 1 for their offensive spear.

I appreciate any clarification you can provide.

No POA for the spear

Yup, that is because the MF support. What I dont´t like is that as offensive spears they are subject for anarchy charging (happened to me) wihout the POA for imapct and for melee. I think this unit should be changed to defensive spears.
