Slitherine

For me this was the second or third really tough mission and took me 4 times to win. The first couple times I tried to defend the citadel too, but couldn't hold it. The next time I lost the bridge with a couple turns to go, and I think I kept the citadel even though I didn't defend it at all. I pulled everyone out. The fourth time I won, and was hunkered down by the bridge with some AT guns, machine guns, infantry and a mortar. The Germans had several tanks in the area, but I had the approach pretty heavily guarded.

Has anyone won this scenario while also defending and holding the citadel?
