I amsure it was already asked but cannot manage to find the discussion back .

If pikes are in 4 ranks and they are assaulting a fortified unit , do they get de + POA for the 4th rank ?

I guess yes as the rank providing the support is in open terrain ( well let's hope so ) but hesitate a bit

I would think they do. Can't really see a reason why they wouldn't

o If the base claiming the POA or causing the Cohesion Test modifier even partly enters uneven, rough or difficult terrain.
o If attacking or defending fortifications, an obstacle or a riverbank.

I did look at the glossary but not at the right words ...like : piles,POA, fortifications and did not think of "open terrain" such a shame
