I'm hosting a tournament that will take place at Game Parlor Chantilly, Virginia on SUnday 24th March 2012.

Any Roman or Byzantine army from Lost Scrolls, Rise of Rome, Legions Triumphant and Decline & Fall. Allies are allowed, with the proviso that no Knights are allowed in the Nikephorian Byzantine list.

675 pts on a 5x3 mat, terrain to be limited to single size pieces (12" size).

25-0 scoring, with 3 rounds of 3hr game limit.

Rounds to be from 11.30 -2.30, 3.00 - 6.00 & 6.30 - 9.30.

The first round will be a random draw, with the proviso that people who travel long distances will not play each other. Rounds 2 & 3 will be the traditional highest scores play each other.

Players buy a $5 gift certificate for the store, which will include the cost of your day ticket, and then the vouchers will be split between the winner and runner-up.

This raises money for the store, so is always welcome.

Dan wanted to, but was reminded of the deferred consequences for the hairball he coughed up in Lisbon this past September. We agreed to shelve discussion of penalties . . . .

Due to there only being 3 or 4 players for this tournament, it has been cancelled. Ah well, better luck next time I guess lol
