you choose you proffesion.

crafter
legonaire
blacksmith
politican
builder
and many more.

as a politican you can work your way up the senate. or a politicans work in romen provinces, and you cant build up a province withuot a builder.

as a legonaire you join a legion and work your way up the chain of command.
and a legion cant fight without a blacksmith and crafter.

so all proffesions would depend on eachother.

and istead of levels i would steal the roma victor idea with training to improve streaght stammina and so on. and if you slaking of on your training your stats would go down.

and then togther you would build up the roman empire.

and you can also of course be a family man build a home and family when your not in the senate or o nthe battlefield

There is already a game called roma-victor, you should try playing that, it looks pretty cool.
