How do I move AA under an aircraft?

I have an 88 sitting next to a str 2 fighter. 4 Hexes away is a str 10 bomber. To shoot the bomber I need to move into the hex the fighter is in.

How?

Shoot the fighter. That's always the best use for AD weapons, send your fighters after their bomber instead. ;)

But seriously, there is no 'force move' command in Panzer Corps, so what you are attempting to do is not possible...
Unless you use a cheat to set the weather to "rain", then move, then set the weather to whatever it was previously, cloudy or clear.

Your 88 has a range of 2 so you don't need to be in the same hex but you do need to be within 2 hexes and you can only move 1 hex and still shoot I believe. This is the limitation of AA guns. Takes some luck and prior planning to maximize their effectiveness.

It's a bug or at least a poor feature - you have to fire the AA first to be able to move it under an aircraft, which is far from ideal.

Does this count as an AI improvement? :D

Now if we can just get that for players, too... :)
