i recently bought the program and really enjoying playing online with friends from all over the world...
just a small question on ranking that appear on the page www.fieldofglory.com...
(i don't know if you are directly involved in that but i presume you are. )

Is it possible to make the ranking searchable. i.e. to find the ranking of a single player.
For guys like me that are perhaps at page #50 or more it is impossible to see if they are making any progress with their games.

Introducing the ranking may also be interesting in the game itself. I mean. when you see the opponent knowing the ranking (or other infos like how many games he/she played etc...) may help you deciding if it is a desperate match or not. You may also introduce (if agreed by who launch the game) some handicap based on very uneven experience of the players... I know it is risky because some guys may exploit that but i think the vast majority will only enjoy !...

These ranking only apply to the tabletoip version fo the game only at the moment I'm afraid. They are manually processed after each competion.

We hope to have somethign like this for the digital version at some point.

I thought that the rankings that you may find at http://www.fieldofglory.com/ladder/fog_pc
are relative to fog pc version (it is written in the headings and is reported that tbodleyscott played more than 1000 games) i thought they have access to the pc games database.
that's why i asked the above question...

Those stats are for teh PC version but they dont really compare much useful info. Redoing them is on our list of thign s we want to do.

great idea i think this will add a lot of interest in playing...
