Panzer Corps wins Usenets Wargame of the Year 2011!

Great news - Panzer Corps wins Wargame of the Year! And the Grand Campaigns come in 7th & 8th, giving PzC a huge margin overall!

Very well deserved. I've only had PzC a week, and I'm already more addicted to it than any triple-A title I've played this year (though I did burn more than 100 hours in Dead Island
)

PC is truly a great game!
I really look forward to where they go with future expansions and iterations of the game (hoping for a naval version)

Excellent showing... grabbing three spots in the top ten (including first place) is a remarkable achievement. A well-deserved honor, congrats to Slitherine, Lordz and the PzC development team for a job well done.

5USD DLC addon campaigns managed to rank higher than full games? Interesting, I would assume they were just be incorporated as part of Panzer Corps... I guess would interpret that as 43+8+5. But hey don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining!

All I could find was this so far. It shed a little light on why the DLC campaigns got their own separate mention at least.

Haven't played past the point where I recognised the UI and scenario as (basicall) identical to the original Panzer
General. Then loaded the first GC '39 scenario and REALLY had to work against the AI.
Haven't gone back to the vanilla game so I don't feel competent to judge..
