Growing the Hobby

As we approach the release of GS 2.1 (which is going to be another huge leap ahead for CEAW), I find myself thinking about the relatively small coterie of players of this great-and-getting-greater game.
I suggest that we discuss strategies for getting the word out into cyberspace about with an eye towards recruiting more players.
I looked at the CEAW Wikipedia page, and it's paltry. I would volunteer to edit the page and get it up to speed, but I'd like to get some input from the community first.
Anybody here with marketing experience? How do we reach our demographic?

We can use sections of the GS manual in the Wiki if you want. Also we created 5 brochures for GS 2.0 that look good and contain good content. They are on the Slitherine we site or posted here in the Forum. I have 3 more ready, so far, for the GS 2.1 launch. You would need to contact Iain from Slitherine via the Forum on what else could be done. I will be glad to assist you -- where I can.

You're welcome to use any info from the site or manuals to create a wiki page.

Interesting - The phrase 'Growing the Hobby', I was thinking of this myself - This is a challenging and great game, and hat's off to Slitherine, and the entire BJR team for this game. I just looked, and have never played a game like this non-stop for three years. The bottom line is that I am still learning - I really enjoy it and I think the world deserves this great game as well. Diplomaticus please post the URL to the wiki, thanks.
Jay
PS - I am also a miniature Historical Wargamer, that's where I heard the phrase "Growing the Hobby" first.
