Should We add Modder Information to GS Manual?

I was wondering if we should add a new section to the manual on how to mod CEaW GS. Things like "how to", general.txt content, etc.

1. What are your thoughts?

2. If you think it is a good idea - do you have content to add or URL's to point me to for current & valid material?

Thanks!

1. If you did I would make it a separate section. For me the manual has gotten so large (which is a good thing :D ) that it's becoming difficult for me to scroll through. I'd recommend breaking things up (that seem reasonable to break up) into separate appendices. This would, for me, make searching for and using the manual more manageable.

2. There's a person who is doing some amazing stuff making his own mods (forum name welk).
See: viewtopic.php?p=290855#290855 If everyone else agreed I would recommend that we invite him to join the beta group and to write the mod'ing manual. In fact, he could include his mods as part of the effort. I think he's done some very impressive work.

Thanks for the input - 2 items:

1. With the new Scrivener software I am using - it is much easier to create separate of customized manuals. Tell me what sections of the existing manual would make good separate sections.

2. I think it is a very good idea to invite Welk in.

I think it's a good idea to add welk and let him describe how he mods.

Welk also made some graphics changes to images (like sentry). Should we consider adapting some of them?

Sure ... I'll send him a PM and invite him to join.
