Battle of Ludford Bridge 1459

This is a fight that did not actually happen in the end as there were significant Yorkist desertions on the eve of the battle. So this is entirely hypothetical and it is the campaign version of the scenario. The Lancastrian army is much larger than the Yorkist army so this is a very tough proposition for their opponents.

This "What if.." fantasy scenario is inspired! Those Yorkist better remain behind their prepared ground and not venture forth! It almost makes one wish that the historical battlefield defection had not occurred so that the Duke of York could have accepted battle. If the order of battle was like this, though, he was better off not fighting that day. Or for that matter even later, at Northampton.
