The music

I just downloaded and installed the game. It looks nice, going through the tutorials now.

I just got to mention the music. It sounds really bad, like it is out of sync a lot. This makes the drums and the rhytm suffer and it gives a schizophrenic impression. I had to turn it off which is a shame. Does anyone else have a problem, software or maybe hardware related I don't know, with the music?

Hi,
could you please go to the \data\music\ folder and run the music files out of game and let me know which ones are not OK?
I would really appreciate. You can also edit the playlists and keep only those tracks which you find fine.

So I did. I listened in various music players and the tracks that are out of sync, out of rhytm are:
Africa Corps
Europe at War
Katiusha
Normandy
SAS

It appears to me that there is either a fault in the conversion of the files or that the music is supposed to sound like that. Being a semi-professional musician myself who has been working with music software for 20 years I'd say there is definitely something wrong with either the production or the MIDI-clock conversion. The tracks don't time the beat at all, drums and trumpets just run at different speeds creating a less than satisfactory sound. I could probably give some advice regarding the use of effects, production and mixing regarding the other tracks as well, but they sound OK.

I edited those tracks out of the generic playlist and it's nice to be able to add own tracks. I think I'll add the Panzer General 2 music. :)

I think the music is supposed to be like that to make a person feel tense, unaware, nervous and afraid, hyper.
