Printing Maps

I dont know what you guys are doing but I am used to always make me up a map of a new scenario. I know that has been discussed a few times but as the question rises up again and again, I just have to add my two cents.

I am using FastStone Capture and yes, it is not free. But there might be other free programms that offer similar results.
I just think it should not be the developers priority, there is no need to reinvent the wheel as there is such a mass of tools at our fingertips to do exactly this.
You got some of them already if you got Windows installed. One is called the "Print Screen" key, the other is the program "Paint". I just dont like it's handling.
