Maxed SE and Inf Move?

Can Infantry gain +1 Movement or is the max capped at 3 movement? Also what's the max number of SE units one can receive in DLC '39? In the Open Beta, they say its 3, but I read somewhere in this forum (can't find it now) that its capped at 2.

I thought you could only have a maximum of 2 SE units?

Re the inf move question, IIRC I had an inf unit ending up above a movement of 3 via a hero in my first campaign.

Probably he lost or disbanded one. I have received my 3rd after Modlin, but I have lost one in that forest scenario

I've had infantry with +2 movement. It's a heck of a benefit. You can keep up with armour without transport!

@bebro - Thanks for the info.
@dragos - Could you just confirm for me whether its possible to have 3 SE units in DLC '39? I mean the max you can have for the entire DLC, not referring to disbanded/destroyed units. I recall reading the beta-testers kept mentioning 3 SEs for DLC '39 and some say its a max cap of 2. So do you know, what the SE max cap for DLC '39? Thanks.
@MartyWard - Its possible to have Infantry with a movement of 5??!!

Wow, I got to get me one of those! I assumed only that Grenadiers, Pionieres (2-move units) were the only ones that could get +1 movement. It would have been really useful in the Kampinoska Forest scenario.

In 39 I had maximum two SE units in my core composition at any given time.

@jaggy, he got his 5 movement infantry by getting either two +1 movement heroes on a 3 movement infantry or three +1 movement heroes on a 2 movement infantry. Heroes are not exclusive and you are not locked out from getting more of the same. For instance, it's possible to have a unit with +9 attack by getting three heroes with +3 attack each.

Me too and I received the third one at the start of '40 campaign.

To my knowledge its 2 SE units for 39 one more for the 40 dlc and an additional one for dlc 41 making it of a total of 4 in 41 dlc campagin.
A question of my own: Is there leaders that give more than +1 to movment (ie +2 and +3 as with the other types) ?

I suppose it is possible to get +3 or more move bonus but you'd need to be real lucky. I thought about changing my fast infantry into super fast cavalry at one point.

@dragos - Thanks for the confirmation. I think in the beta '39 DLC the SE units cap was 3 and for the actual release they allowed only 2. This I gathered from Open Beta threads.
@AgentX - Thanks, never thought of it that way. Rudankort did say that heroes bonuses were cumulative. I've had several +Attacks and +Defences, never occured to me about two +1 movement Heroes (maybe because Movement Heroes are so rare). I still hope to get one of these though.
@vgo - Thanks for the double confirmation.
@Lamont - I've never seen single Hero with +2 or +3 Movement but I've just played 2 stock campaigns only. Maybe the veteran players will know.
@MartyWard - For myself, I like a unit with a spread of Heroes ie. +3 Attack, +3 Defence, +3 Initiative (in my dreams, of course, I've had units with max 3 Heroes but never maxed out stats). I remember one SE tank unit with a +3 Attack that had helped me out in a lot of tight situations.

@Lamont, movement, spotting and range heroes are limited to +1 while defense, attack and initiative heroes can be either +1, +2, or +3.
@jaggy, I also like a balance of heroes, but I once had a fighter bomber that had +6 attack (two +3 heroes) with +2 initiative and the thing was a monster. It was like having a true fighter and Stuka, rolled into one.

@AgentX - WOW!!! A Hero with +6 Attack and +3 Initiative.

Is this hero in your DLC core or the stock Panzer Corps campaign?

It was during a stock campaign, like a month or two ago. It takes much longer on the DLC's to get to your third hero (more kills are required for DLC heroes). Most of my units had 2-3 heroes by the time I reached the US West Coast; it was just this particular unit turned out quite extraordinary.
