Thoughts on game

First, thanks for the opportunity to take part in the beta. I started the campaign on Lt. level because I’m sort of a novice and I find it easier to maintain prestige levels further into the game. I thought the escaping locomotives was an excellent idea and a neat way to expand the game. Pushing the Russians out of the way was challenging but not so much so as not to be able to secure a decisive victory. I believe I lost a tank and a couple of recon units. I need to rework my use of recons because I find that the AI will take them out expeditiously if they are exposed without flank protection.
I liked the way I was able to divide forces to take Karkov 42. For me, multiple smaller force sizes seem more manageable and more fun that a giant map with a 1 giant swarm of units. This scenario was a little more difficult however and I managed to loose multiple recon units and a couple tanks.
For what it’s worth, I agree anti-air units should be able to be used as fire suppression. It would make them more valuable to keep as well as maintaining historical accuracy.
I also think a way to print the map would be a great idea. I would love to be able to move away from my computer desk and study the map.
