I'm wondering if perhaps the 20 game limit is a bit too restrictive. Some people may stick to just some of the smaller maps, which means they can burn through a lot of them quick on even an evening basis. This seems to be impeded by the fact that some players tend to take days before getting their own turns in.

I think it might be a good idea to have it flexible - perhaps based on how many games you have finished. I can see heavy players hitting the limit fairly easily, for the reasons you say.
