Should we let the amph range be dependent upon tech?

Please vote whether the amph range from nearest friendly port should be fixed to 10, dependent upon game year or dependent upon tech. The reason to do this is to make Sealion slightly more difficult because Germany can't land into occupied hexes far from a friendly port as early as 1940. So they can only make opposed landings along the English channel coast. Further away they will have to make landings into empty hexes.

I really like the rule depending on surface ship tech. So the germans will still have a 7 hexes range in summer 1941 in case of a "massive" Sea lion executed in that year. More defensive possibilities for the brits in such scenario.

Option C. It sounds balanced and is not so deterministic as Option B.

Yes, if you focus on surface ships and build maybe 3 naval labs.

Option C. Gives the player the option of planning ahead and focusing on tech to make invasions possible.

Adopting "C" is a good outcome, I think.
