CoW won't run

I just downloaded Cow but I can't make i work. After installation, that seems to go as normal, I click on the "play Cow" icon and then the "try free for 3 hours" button. The Slithering logo appears, then the CoW logo, the screen flikcers a couple of times and I'm back at the desktop and nothing happens.

My pc is an old laptop with 650 mhz with 128 mb ram nad WinNT 2000. Legion runs without any problems at all.

My best guess is that it is the additional "trial-software" that is playing me a trick. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I could try? Any help would be appreciated!

I am totally addicted to Legion and had decided to buy Cow. But now I'm not sure. I'm not paying for anything that that does work for no obvious reason.

Chariots of War requires 1024x768 display to run so may be your lap top is not able to use that resolution? Legion runs at 800x600 so might be a safer bet for a laptop?

That's probably it. I'll try fixing it.

Thanks a lot!!

Its probably not something you can fix. Laptops have a fixed resolution they always run at & try to simulate other res's. I dont think its possible to simulate a higher res, but I'm not very technical so I might be wrong!
