ACW or other periods being worked?

Hi y'all,

I saw a question on the general forum asking whether Slitherine had considered making an ACW game using this game engine. The poster was suggested to try modding one and posting it.

I don't have the time / skills to do this - don't know if the original poster does either - but was wondering whether:

1. Anyone is trying something like this for ACW
2. If not, was there any interesting in someone doing this sort of thing?
2. What other non -WWII mods are being created
3. Whether there was a consolidated place where modders posted their works for playtest evaluation by others
4. And this just occurred to me - just like the idea being tossed around about a single man unit "sniper", I was wondering about the feasibility of using the game engine and modding it for generating scenarios with single figure units and vehicles to represent squad level actions. If so, it would seem this could similarly be ported over to make gangster and old west scenarios, even though that is straying pretty far afield.

Hey Terrement,

What does ACW stand for? I'm not familiar with that acronym.

D-O-O-O-H AGAIN!!

I meant General Hooker who preceded General Meade (he was the smart one). My ACW is a little rusty till the thought "Killer Angels" popped into my head (what an excellent book and movie).
