Hi
I think I'll join this thread .....
Thanks to Hammy for the day and for taking over my last game. I wasn't very good on the day and not very inspiring for the boy. However me and him, we had a nice day and despite us having to go before the third he is threatening to come to Birmingham.
Thanks to my opponents for soundly thrashing me on the day  , and particularly to Oliver for getting boy involved...
I was thinking about these tournaments, and they are the only ones I do , but they do have a very good atmosphere and are very inclusive.
So thanks again to Hammy and nice to see those familiar faces.

I'd also like to thank Hammy for organising this.

This is an excellent format and the smaller points/tables give a different challenge for people who are looking for a change from 800 point games.

Thanks Hammy for a great weekend as usual !!

Thanks to all mine and my son's opponents for bearing with us.

The highlight was my son getting his first ever winning draw, a special thanks to Peter Card for that!

Did I hear correctly that we may have another 650 competition on the calendar next year? :D

Thanks are indeed due. Of course, mostly to Hammy, but by extension to all the others there. It seems such a friendly competition; I don't think I heard a voice raised in anger the entire weekend (possibly my own, but I was talking to my dice at the time).

As I had one of my better tournaments (there haven't been that many) and won as many as I lost I am really keen to see the results - where might I find out?

Hi all,

Thanks for the thanks :D

I will get the full results up some time over the weekend.

It is looking like there will be at least one other Pick'n'Mix style event next year. More details as soon as they are available of course.
