Started playing the arnhem scenario and was about 4 turns into the game against Cornillius. After clicking exit I got a popup saying the server couldnt return the turn due to failure. This is about the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to me now. Is there some periodic problem with the BA server or something? Also these battles appear to be impossible to continue. The file goes into the 'enemy turn' box and I have never ever recieved a return file from any of my opponents. Where do these files go? Into some black hole of cyberspace or something?? This is very frustrating and not a good advertisement for what is otherwise a great game. Surely if there is a server failure it would be possible to come up with some better system of saving files than this??

I am maxed out with 20 games going on, though today i've been so busy I haven't had a chance to get to any of them. I'm just guessing, but I'm assuming this black-hole for the moment is just a temporary save to your HD, and will be uploaded to the server when you next connect to it.

Well, I was able to log on ok and get my Desert Fort scenario turns out at least for this evening. I presume all is well again.

If the games are in the enemy turn box, it means they uploaded correctly. So you should get the next turn back.

We are constantly working at trying to better handle these loss of connection situations. 1.7 includes some further improvements to the HTTP code, and 1.8 will (if all goes as planned) save any turns which fail to upload and try them again.
