It would be great if starting a campaign there would be an advanced page/tab where one could set more stuff like chess mode etc additional to the setting like difficult, fow, supply ...
This would be great and would make it easier to enjoy the fantastic game.

I forget where it was posted, but I believe it is where the combat results will be identical to the preliminary estimate given prior to the attack.

thanks for the answer, when I first read it I thought it would be a mode where every attack leads to a kill (if a unit is stronger) without any hitpoints calculations just like in chess
