GC39 - Germany's eastern borders are not correct!

Hello,

having received the first Addon to Panzercorps Wehrmacht I was eager to start, but what a disappointment, when I opened the first scenario of "Fall Weiss":
As you know starting the scenario, you as the commanding General are ordered to cross the eastern borders of Germany and strike deep into the heartland of Poland.
The german units are positioned along the Oder, and the next cities marked with the Polish flag are Legnica and Zielona Gora.
Well, to me these cities are known as Liegnitz and Grünberg, and of course they are German cities, as is for example Breslau; on the map shown as Wroclaw and marked as Polish!
I realized at this point, that many targets of operation are marked as Polish though they should have been German - under the condition, that the historic maps of 1939 are used! The map, that is seemingly used for this scenario, is the map of today's middle Europe!!

What a severe mistake, and for me as a German really disappointing!
I would be glad, if one of the next updates corrects this mistake!
Or am I just too sensitive, since the gameplay is not affected by this mistake?

You are right Wroclaw or Breslau was a huge city and German since a long time before 1939!

Kerensky could you have a look at this, for gameplay it has no effect, but it was the third largest city in Germany and definitely not Polish.

Same for Liegnitz and Grünberg all German since Frederick The Great added Silesia to Prussia and very much German!

At the end of WW1 Breslau became part of Poland and called Wroclaw even though it's population was predominantly German. Lots of Poles left because of violence but IMO Kerensky has the name correct.

No it is not, it was only after WW2 after 1945, not WW1. Breslau was a huge German city, like most of Silesia became dominantly German since 1741, switched to Austria again, but it was basically even a Nazi bastion in the `30`s, definitely not Polish until it was designated to the Soviets and back to communist Poland after WW2.

Breslau has been a Prussian/German bastion for ages, hardly any Pole lived there by 1939 and it was a huge city, even a big Nazi party centre.

It is just a historic mistake, it does not take away any fun out of the game or DLC, but if we can correct this historic error without much problem, we should. If it is a big problem to fix it, no problem, but it is ok to admit the map is not historically correct for 1939.
