Feedback for 39 and 40 DLC

Hi,

I really love PzC DLCs also the way you lead this forum and listen to your customers ;-) and thanks for the very lively and helpful community ;-)

The only real critic I had was the unaffordable elite replacements and many units lost - instead of RPG feeling - thanks to the help of the forum I was able to solve it with more PP for taking cities...;-) I play on General now and because I do not want to loose any unit it is quite a challenge.

If I ever forget to cover units at the end of the turn i can even loos an overstrength unit in one turn - this make me play far more strategically and realistically then I ever did in PG.

Also love the more relaxed turn limit in the DLCs - so i can oncentarte on the best approachand not just on speed...

Love the counter attacks makes me feel like a real war cause it surely went forth and back in reality...

Love th certain goals like destroy this target or so many targets - really cool...

And like the defensive scenarios like the one in Poland - really make me think hard but now I win with xtra PP at the end no unit lost and still decisive - as I said it is far more strategically then PG ever was...

So now a last complain - why was 41DLC not yet published and why I did not read about the developement of 42, 43, 45, 46 and Allied PzC... ;-) keep up the good work...

One more suggestion what about including more Bonus scenarios in the DLCs - lets say I vget all DVs in 40 campaign - then I can still play the North Africa DLC campaign....so I am more motivated for max results in the campaign...

Thanks again!

Don't worry, 1941 is right around the corner! ;)

As for Africa linking into the DLC system. It's possible, but at this point I can't share any details.

The DLC Grand Campaign is most likely going to end with 1945 though, there probably won't be a DLC 1946. Although it could be possible, if there's enough demand for a continuation! :D

Or just keep going, making up nations and battles and units along the way until 2012. Can include histories real wars and just fill in the empty space between with made up stuff :P

I also love the idea of a super long campaign - this was one of my biggest wishes that PG could never satisfy ;-) but PzC seems to be able so please also 1946 ;-)

ooops just realize lots of typos in the first post - sorry was kind of tired ;-)

'46 should only be made if it has secret German bases on the Moon or something.

Seriously, I'd prefer historic Allied or Pacific campaigns before fictional ones, but maybe that's just me.

Well again, if Germany and Japan would have won I am sure they would have fought for worldpower - maybe Germany even againt Italy and Japan ;-) Everyone wanted to be number one...

So this is not too fictional to me - but I agree with Allied General and Pacific General additionally ;-)

Especially Pacific General with an epic campaign with Destroyers and Carriers as core units would be really cool ;-)

After beating up the Chinese, SU, Europeans and US in Asia they invade US and England seaborne and then fight in the 1946 or 1947 DLC for worldpower with Germany ;-)

Again if the Axis would have won I am sure this would not be fictional ;-)

The DLC Grand Campaign is most likely going to end with 1945 though, there probably won't be a DLC 1946. Although it could be possible, if there's enough demand for a continuation! Very Happy

Oh by the way how are the DLCs going sale wise - I post advertisement in a lot of German forums ;-)

And another little issue I would love to have the Great War game within the PzC engine - I believe this would give an enormeous potential ;-)

Of course it is always nice to speculate and theorise of what will come next.

The intention is to make a DLC for every year of the war. Development is one thing, beta testing is another since nobody is waiting for an unbalanced or uninteresting scenario/campaign. To release a good product takes time. Remember the high quality release of the game.
It is better to concentrate for now on the DLC packs than to spend time of what might come afterwards.

Further development or even new projects might depend on popularity/revenue of the DLC pack.
And DLC 39/40 is popular :).

Yes I appreciate the high quality and I trust that the devs can do high quality even for 1946 ;-)

I am happy they are selling well!

This idea is already taken by the movie "Iron Sky" :)

In my opinion stay historical do 39-45 and end the German campaign there, and look for another theater. Im fairly sure they have some long-going plans how to continue with PzC
