In the Arnhem multiplayer scenario from the Market Garden expansion, there are several road hexes on the western side of the map that outwardly appear normal but are impassible and labeled as "cliffs." Is this intentional?

Are these near the bridge? There was a little jiggery pokery that had to be done to allow you to go under & over the bridges so we had to fudge the terrain in some places I think. Does it cause any gameplay issues?

No, they are in the northwest quadrant of the map. They quite effectively prevent the German vehicles from circling around to the west and flanking the VP spaces in the center of the city. I haven't seen any on the right/east side of the map or near the bridge.

Correction, now I have found at least one "Cliffs" square on the eastern side of the map. All in all, these impassable spaces DO affect gameplay and make it a lot harder for the Axis player, since they render most of the map inaccessible.

I found three road spaces by the Cathedral that read as "Cliffs" when you mouse over them. They block movement and apparently LOS as well and IMO provide my Red Devils with a significant defensive advantage. I could see the paras putting up roadblocks to accomplish this very effect but as I understand it there are no roadblocks in BA (yet). Please take a look ASAP.

I think Celeborn may be on to something--the "invisible cliffs" might supposed to be roadblocks. Although, I would imagine that they should still be passable to infantry, not the least to say they should be outwardly distinguishable from regular road spaces.
