Feature request: notes on strategic map

Hello,
just bought the game and played with it a bit.
Got to France and I got the idea that it would be cool if there was a "whiteboard marker" tool for drawing on the strat map, and a way to add notes to a particular hex (Group A go this route, Group B go this route, enemy cruisers spotted here, etc). Something like you get in the zoomed out view of Civilization 4, if you played that.

Not a bad idea for a long and far-reaching campaign game like Civilization.
But I'm not sure I'd use them for PzC. The scenarios usually don't last long enough for me to lose track of much.

It's not just for keeping track, it's also a planning aid. I don't know about you, but the first thing I do on a map is go to the strategic map and think about what needs doing and how. Sometimes I feel the urge to draw it out on paper and having that functionality in the game would aid immersion in my opinion.

@Morholt, is this something like what you are requesting (link below)? The ability to mark the map with arrows and notations for planning purposes? I agree that it would be a fantastic addition, but might it not be feasible. It would probably require adding a mini "Paint" program to the game. This is a smaller, indie developer and they may not have the budget for something like this. You can use the Print Screen function and import it to your "Paint" like program of your choice. Then, print it up so you have it while you play. Not as convenient, but doable (in the AAR section of the forum, you will see people making planning maps).

You can pretty much see the whole map now or do a little scroll to see and plan everything with out going into the strategic view.
